The Land Trust Alliance (LTA) is a network we and other 22 nonprofit organizations jointly established in 2017, a call for social forces to promote the land-trust paradigm for conservation in China and effectively help protect 1% of the national land.
Set standards and guidelines for land-trust Nature Reserve and provide technical support for non-profit organizations to establish land trusts;
Collect data on Chinese land-trust Nature Reserve and provide rating and certification services for these Nature Reserve;
Review past experiences and carry out outbound exchange with respect to land trusts;
Promote capacity building and talent development;
Advocate for relevant laws and policies for the establishment of land-trust Nature Reserve;
Provide financial support for the establishment of land-trust Nature Reserve.

We have conducted online and offline training and have had nearly 4,000 attendees; | |
We have supported the Ant Forest funded land-trust Nature Reserve: The Yanghu Lake of Anhui, the Guanba of Sichuan, and the Heshun of Shanxi; | |
We have submitted 4 draft bills and proposals to the NPC & CPPCC, regarding land-trust Nature Reserve; | |
We have identified 30 land-trust Nature Reserve. |
